Dr. Travis Tidwell

Dr. Travis Tidwell attended the University of Utah, Des Moines University, and Mercyone Medical Center in Waterloo Iowa.

During that time he received 3 different certifications of total ankle systems, certification for PROstep minimally invasive surgery system, and advanced arthroscopic training. Continuing education he participated in foot and ankle training meetings with experts from around the country including notable orthopedic foot and ankle specialists Hodges Davis, MD, Robert Anderson, MD, and Carroll Jones, MD.

Dr. Tidwell specializes in ankle pathology including DJD and instability, minimally invasive foot and ankle surgery, charcot and neuropathic foot and ankle pathologies, and wound care.

Dr. is a Utah native who jumped at the chance to live outdoor life in southern Utah closer to family.

In his private life Dr. Tidwell enjoys spending time with his wife and 7 beautiful children, 1 son and 6 daughters. They enjoy hiking/backpacking, mountain biking, and skiing. Dr. Tidwell is also a licensed master plumber.
